the progressive tense involves action that is, was, or will be in progress at a certain time.
example:i am learning english at my desk. i was learning english the last two years. i will be learning english then.
perfect tense have 3 types:present perfect tense describes an action that started in the past and continues to the present time. use has/have + the past participle form of the verb.past perfect tense describes an action that started and ended in the past. use had + the past participle form of the verb.future perfect tense describes future actions that will occur before some other action. use will have + the past participle form of the verb.
example:i have cooked supper every night this week. i had cooked supper every night until the stove broke. i will have cooked supper every night by the time this diet ends.

explanation: the horror genre is usually just jump scares and is used to scare you, the suspense genre however, is slightly different. suspense is a feeling that gets heavier when you don't know what's about to happen, like, feeling something bad will happen and at the same time you want to know what'll happen and this induces the feeling of your heartbeat quickening and your curiousity is at peak.
